Publisher’s blue cloth, title and pictorial device stamped in black to upper cover, title gilt to spine. Illustrations by Arthur Frederics within text. Very light pale spots of toning to boards, spine lightly sunned, hinges worn but joints holding firm. Contents lightly and evenly toned, generally clean and neat. Overall, a very good copy. The fresh, witty, and highly praised comic novel, which recounts a boat trip along the Thames. Frederics’ comical illustrations throughout became synonymous with the novel. £85.00
