Contemporary mottled calf, gilt ornament within gilt rolls to boards, gilt diaper design and titles to spine, edges mottled blue. Bookplate of the William Waples collection to front free endpaper. Binding a little rubbed, particularly to edges of boards and to spine, joints worn but holding firm. Contents clean, bright, and fresh. A very good copy in a contemporary binding.
