An attractive Folio Society edition of Japanese author Haruki Murakami’s tenth novel, which won the World Fantasy Award in 2006. A split narrative tale of a fifteen year old boy named Kafka Tamura who flees his home, and an older man named Nakata who can talk to cats, Murakami felt true understanding of the novel’s interlinking riddles came from several readings.
