A few light spots of soiling to margins of a few pages but contents generally clean and rather bright. A very good copy. A rare and charming book of recipes and domestic tips, all of which are attributed to the various members of the Ladt Victoria Buxton Girls’s Club. The recipes within range from French haute cuisine such mouton a la chasseur and chaudfroid of chicken, to West Indian curries and soups, to Australian classics such as an early version of fairy toast, Sally Lunn, damper, lamingtons, kangaroo tail soup, Billy tea, and rissoles.
