Square octavo, stitched pamphlet, pp., 61, [3], with facsimile frontispiece from the first printing of 1647, together with one plate and photographic facsimile title-page to the latter work. The study and facsimile paginated contiguously. Publisher’s yapp edged black paper wraps, titled to paper label on upper cover. Printed on laid paper de luxe, f Foxing to title-label, spine wearing through with loss to head and tail, shelf-wear and nicks to yapped edges. Very occasional spots of foxing to first and final leaves, contents otherwise clean and bright. A good copy. Cayme Press Pamphlet no. 7. A scarce fine-press work by the eminent occultist Montague Summers, with a letterpress facsimile of a rare pamphlet on witchcraft, originally written at the height of England’s witch craze. £250.00
