Publisher’s olive-green cloth, badge in gilt to upper board, within black-stamped ornamental frame, titled in gilt to spine; upper edge gilt. Boldly inscribed “Bertram Goff 71st Hightlanders from The Author June 1881” to front free end-paper. Hinges cracked, boards a little rubbed, corners bumped and rubbed, text-block shaken. Contents clean and bright. A very good copy.
