SIGNED first edition. Tall quarto, pp.’ [8], 20, [4]. Bound in the publisher’s navy blue cloth with gilt titles to upper board and spine. In the original publisher’s faun dust-jacket. Cloth clean and gilt bright. Uncut edges, some leaves unopened. Offsetting to endpapers else contents impeccably clean. Dust-jacket lightly foxed with small nicks to top spine-tip discreetly repaired to rear with archival tape. A near fine copy in a very good jacket.
 
Scarce French symbolist inspired poetry collection by the scandalising English eccentric, poet, patron and literary critic, Edith Sitwell. Printed on Van Gelder handmade paper at the Cambridge University Press and signed to the limitation leaf by the author. Copies are necessarily rare, being limited to 275 copies with only 250 for sale.
