Publisher’s pictorial paper covered boards with titles in white to spines, each book in a plain black slipcase. All fine copies in like slipcases. An attractive set of works by the surrealist author Franz Kafka. Though relatively undiscovered in his lifetime with most of his works being published posthumously, after World War 2, Kafka rose in notoriety and even spawned his own sub genre: Kafkaesque. He is famous for his allegories and absurdist style. This set is beautifully illustrated by Bill Bragg. £250.00
