From the library of the Edinburgh Lodge of the Theosophical Society, with their late 19th/early 20th century bookplate bearing an occult ouroboros symbol to front-paste-down, with a few further Theosophical Society blind stamps and ink stamps, and their shelf-mark label to spine. Gift inscription of one George Moore M. D. dated 1900 to half-title. Cloth rubbed to corners with wear to spine-tips.
