Second edition, expanded. Duodecimo in half-sheets, pp., xxvi, 246. Half brown sheep over marbled paper, titled in gilt to spine. Historic ex-libris stamp of one ‘W. D. H.’ to front paste-down. Shelf-wear to edges, corners rubbed and boards exposed, spine faded. Occasional damp stains to contents. A very good copy. Henry Cotes of Bedlington Vicarage, Durham is named in Author’s Preface. Verses include “A Shearing Day in Northumberland”, “Sequel of Misgivings, or, Harvest Home in Northumberland” and “The Northumberland Pitman”.A scarce work - Copac locates just two copies of the expanded Second Edition, at the British Library and the Bodleian. £95.00
