A good copy.

An extensive study of Denton Hall, Newcastle, owned by one of its former residents. Situated on what is now the West Road, there was a house at the site partially constructed from the stones from Hadrian’s Wall in 1503. What is now Denton Hall was originally a manor house built in 1622, which was owned first by the Erringtons, and later the Montagus, including the Bluestocking and woman of letters Elizabeth Montagu (1718-1800). The hall was purchased by William Andrew L’Anson in 1886 and extensively remodelled. L’Anson’s bookplate may indicate his former ownership, but this bookseller finds one presentation copy bearing the same bookplate. John [????’s] inscription is more compelling evidence of this book’s former home, and was no doubt consulted by the former owner while in residence.
