Slipcase a little bruised, especially to the opening. Dennis Stock made his reputation as a hard-edged photojournalist, photographing jazz musicians, refugees, and the counterculture of the 1960's. Taking his inspiration from the Impressionist paintings of Claude Monet, he also photographed flowers. The beautiful bright and richly saturated images are a stark contrast to the utilitarian journalistic style required by his commercial base.
