Quarto. x, 352 pp. 15 plates with tissue guards including frontis of Hexham Abbey Church, of which 1 is double-page, plus numerous illustrations, maps, plans, pedigrees and diagrams throughout text. Book Condition: Very Good. Original red cloth with gilt titles to spine and upper board and Northumberland Coat of Arms gilt-stamped to upper board. Top edge gilt. Floral endpapers. Light foxing mainly to early/late leaves and tissue guards; armorial bookplate of Keld Fenwick to front pastedown but no annotation or inscriptions. Spine lightly sunned/stained ; edges a little scuffed with wear at corners and spine tips. A very good example of the scarce third volume in the set.
