The subjects are Edmund Burke, John Philpot Curran, Henry Grattan, Richard Brinsley Sheridan, Peter Burrows, Charles Kendal Bushe, William Cunningham Plunkett and Henry Flood and subject matter of the speeches covers a variety of topics including the impeachment of Warren Hastings, the liberty of the press, the competency of the Irish government, filial piety and the dog tax bill.
