Half calf with marbled paper-covered boards, five raised bands, black calf label with gilt titles to spine, gilt foliate decoration to compartments, gilt ruling and blind decoration. All edges marbled. Edges rubbed with wear to corners & spine tips; Japanese tissue repair to upper joint. Ownership inscription in pencil to ffep; lacks rfep. A few leaves corner-creased with associated soiling to final leaf; a little foxing, mainly to plates. Map clean and bright. A good solid copy in a near contemporary binding. £125.00
