Publisher's red cloth with head motifs to boards and gilt titles to spine and upper board. Top edge gilt and others uncut; black endpapers. Spine toned & edges rubbed with minor wear to spine tips; minor scattered stains to upper board. Label of W H Smith & Son's Library to front pastedown; ownership inscription in ink of John Byers dated 1909. A little very light toning & foxing otherwise contents clean. Folded single sheet advertisement for "Concerning Corsica" by Rene Juta loosely inserted. Scarce.
