Edges and endpapers marbled; silk placemarker. Corners lightly bruised. Minor toning & light foxing. Printed address labels of Dr Bell of Ecclefechan to each paste-down. William Bell was a surgeon in the Royal Navy and there is a lengthy gift inscription to him from a young lady “As a token of her esteem and Remembrance” to first blank, dated 1832. A Very Good copy.
