Cream faux-leather with gilt titles to spine, in cream dust-jackets with cream titles to brown panel to upper board and brown titles to spine. Limitation number to each verso title page (all No 241). Ownership inscriptions to 3 volumes (partially erased to single volume) and surface tear to foredge ffep Vol 2 without loss, otherwise clean and crisp. Jackets lightly spine sunned and surface soiled with creases and a few nicks to edge, and associated small loss to Vol 4 lower front corner. Overall a very good set. Collection of work by sporting artist George Moore, covering the period 1885-1914, the Golden Age of cycling. Most of the images appeared in periodicals “Bicycling News” and “Cycling”, including coverage of races and competitions. Scarce, particularly as a complete numbered set. Heavyweight so a contribution towards extra postage costs will be requested for overseas delivery. £90.00
