Double-page article from “Life” magazine featuring the recreation of Holmes’ sitting room at Baker Street for the Festival of Britain loosely inserted, along with papers from The Baker Street Irregulars of New York comprising a typed 3-sheet list of Sherlockiana and a typed 4-sheet record of a meeting of the Club in 1951, which includes a list of members. Covers lightly soiled and creased with minor loss at tail of spine of fourth issue. Contents clean; no annotation or inscriptions. A Very Good set.
Complete set of the first year of publications; the Society was of course named after the fictional street characters employed by Holmes to gather intelligence. Scarce.
