Green quarter cloth with silver titles to spine; tartan paper-covered boards with paper title onlay to upper board. Pictorial plate loosely inserted. Spine tips and board edges a little rubbed, with minor wear at bruised lower corners. From the library of Bernard Ratcliffe, with his bookplate below publication details; no annotation or inscriptions. A very good copy.
Taken from the 1691 manuscript of the Minister of Aberfoyle on the second sight and Scottish mythology as fact, with Foreword on the existence of elementals and belief. Rare.
