FIRST EDITION. Small quarto, pp. [4], 107, [1]. 3 plates including frontispiece with tissue guard, plus numerous drawings throughout text by Captain Bridson (sic, the author’s brother). Green cloth with black titles to spine and upper board. Cover cloth rubbed at spine tips and corners. A touch of toning and foxing to paste-downs and endpapers. Tidy annotation in ink to upper margin of single leaf (p. 62), otherwise a clean copy.
