Attractive contemporary maroon straight-grained half-morocco with gilt titles and decoration to spine; marbled paper-covered boards with matching endpapers. Boards lightly surface scuffed; lower corner of upper board worn at tip to Letters. Scattered light foxing, mainly to early and late leaves; pp. 49-65 of Vol II Sketches corner creased, affecting margin only. No annotation or inscriptions. A Very Good set indeed. Six matching volumes of the prolific work of Yorkshire schoolmaster and historian John Bigland (1750-1830).
