Crown octavo, pp. xvi, 336. 37 numbered plates as called for, several of which are double-sided, one of which is gatefold. Quarter calf with gilt titles and decoration to spine, and marbled paper-covered boards. Calf scuffed, with crack to upper joint but holding firmly; minor loss at head of spine, and corners worn. Inner front hinge cracked, with upper half of title page loose; some corner-creasing to leaves.
