FIRST EDITION. Octavo, pp. viii, 135. Monochrome frontispiece, 5 plates and further chapter heading illustrations throughout by Clifford Webb. Publisher’s bright green cloth with chestnut titles to spine and upper board in an unclipped pictorial dust-jacket. Boards are lightly soiled to spine with minor foxing to eps; dated gift inscription in black ink to ffep. Five of the illustrations have been sympathetically hand coloured. Jacket has several tears, up 5 cm (approx.) mostly without significant loss; small area of loss (1 cm by 2 cm approx.) to lower front panel. Very Good book in like jacket.
