Limited Edition: number 10 of 50 numbered copies only printed on hand-made paper and bound in full Niger morocco (of a total limitation of 400). Quarto, pp., xxxii, 238, [2]. Portrait frontispiece of Wilmot, with tissue guard. Bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe in full tan morocco, with five raised bands, gilt titles to spine. Top edge gilt, others uncut. Housed in lined quatrefoil-patterned paper-covered card slipcase. With binders stamp to the turn-in of upper board. Spine lightly sunned and a little rubbed with a couple of minor scuffs; slight offsetting from binding’s leather turn-ins to endpapers. Slipcase a little toned, and rubbed to edges. A near fine copy in very good slipcase. Verses by John Wilmot, Second Earl of Rochester (1647-1680), the restoration poet and courtier. Necessarily scarce. Heavyweight so a contribution towards increased postage costs will be requested for overseas delivery.
