Three works bound together in a single volume. Octavo, pp. [2], 94, [2] prospectus; [4], 80; [2], iv, 131, [1]. Later half polished calf with gilt titles to black label to spine, gilt stamped decoration to spine and double gilt ruled border; marbled paper-covered boards and matching endpapers. Binding Near Fine. A little light scattered foxing to contents, and several leaves corner creased at tips; tidy ownership inscription to title of first “Letter”. A Very Good copy.
 
Collected letters, including Burke’s series of four letters in opposition to Prime Minister Pitt’s seeking peace with the revolutionary French Directorate.
