Shelf stamp of Hopetoun House library to top of spine. All edges sprinkled green. Spine and corners rubbed, and boards lightly surface scuffed. Armorial bookplate of the Earl of Hopetoun to front paste-down. Scattered foxing, a little heavier after p. 240; minor annotation in pencil to p. [292]. A good solid copy.
