Full olive green cloth with gilt titles and crest to spine. Cover cloth slightly soiled and scratched, with minor bruising and wear to edges. Printed W.H. Smith receipt pasted-in to front free endpaper, with bold ownership inscription in ink below. Very light foxing, mainly to text-block edge and endpapers. Map creased from misfolding, with small tear at hinge affecting margin only. A very good copy. Rare regimental history with foreword by Col. Edward Riddell, formerly Brigadier-General Commanding 149th Infantry Brigade, T.A.
