FIRST EDITION. Octavo, pp. [10], 3-279, [1]. Publishers’ black cloth with gilt titles to spine, in unclipped pictorial dust-jacket designed by Chris Shamwana with illustration by Irene von Treskow. Clean and bright, with just a suspicion of a bruise to lower corner of lower board. No annotation or inscriptions; top edge lightly foxed, and textblock slightly toned as usual. Jacket very slightly surface scuffed, with small blue stain inside rear flap. A Very Good copy in like jacket.
