Bound in contemporary half green goatskin and marbled paper covered boards; raised bands, gilt fillets and fleurons to spine compartments and gilt titles to leather spine label. Housed in a mid-twentieth century slipcase of green cloth and marbled paper. Slightly rubbed at corners and joints, minor offsetting from plates, gilt tooled presentation plate to front paste-down and a small, neat nineteenth century ownership inscription to title-page. A solid, square copy.
