Octavo, pp. [8], 339; x, [4], 500; v, [3], 366. 9, 11 and 9 plates per volumes respectively including frontispieces, all by Tim Laing. Grey cloth with silver titles to spine and silhouette motifs in brown and terracotta to spine and upper board, housed in plain grey paper-covered slipcases. Miniscule dent to lower edge of lower board of “Smiley’s People” otherwise volumes Fine. Small scuffed area to single face of slipcase of “Tinker Tailor”, and slipcase edge slightly faded to “Honourable Schoolboy”. Overall a Fine set in Near Fine slipcases.
