FIRST EDITION. Folio, 6 leaves of over one hundred coloured transfers, 24 pages of coloured blank paper, with illustrations and instructions for use to front and back pastedowns. Bound in baby blue illustrated publishers’ boards with nursery scene to upper board, and children’s silhouette to lower board, with cloth strip to spine. Boards lightly soiled with edges rubbed and a small closed tear/bump to edge of lower board with bright vibrant cover illustrations. Contemporary bookseller’s ticket to front paste-down. Contents bright, clean, and free from annotations. Transfers are remarkably intact. A very good copy. Exceptionally rare example of children’s ephemera, complete with six full page sets of bold graphic transfers including wonderful themed collections of tropical animals, butterflies and “wonders of the deep”. £200.00
