Bound in the original blue publishers’ cloth with gilt titles and gilt crest to upper board. Cloth rubbed to edges with wear & a few nicks to head & tail of spine; 8.5 cm split to cover cloth at rear joint and crack to front hinge but secure and holding. Neat gift inscription dated 1938 to ffep otherwise contents clean. Overall a Very Good copy. A scarce work, gift inscribed to the ffep by John Colborne’s son-in-law and aide-de-camp General Sir Alexander George Montgomery Moore KCB. £85.00
