First Edition thus. Small octavo pp., 62. Publishers’ cream cloth with red titles to upper board, without free endpapers as issued, in unclipped printed cream dust-jacket. Cover cloth moderately foxed, and a little soiled to edge; contents clean with no annotation or inscriptions. Jacket nicked & creased to edge and a little surface soiled with several small closed tears and small loss at spine tips. A very good copy in a good dust-jacket. Lewis’ series of talks stating “in the simplest terms the unexpurgated case for Christianity”. Scarce, especially so in the fragile war economy standard dust-jacket. £125.00
