Spine sunned with light “ghost mark” where label has been removed; lower board lightly stained, and both boards bruised to corners. From the library of Edward Potter, the Viewer of Murton Colliery in the Durham Coalfield, with his library mark embossed to title page, and with North of England Institute of Mining and Mechanical Engineers library plate to ffep inscribed “Withdrawn”. Index map slightly nicked & creased at hinge edge with very minor loss to margin, and some offsetting from map to verso front free endpaper. A Very Good copy. Rare, especially in the original binding. Detailed study of the collieries and iron mines in the Forest of Dean in early Victorian times. £400.00
