Hodges authoritative biography of mathematician Alan Turing spans his childhood, time at Cambridge University and his famed work at Bletchley Park, up to his untimely death at 41 years old. Turing designed the Automatic Computing Engine, one of the first stored-program computers and is considered the father of modern computer science.
