Scarce as a set: Faraday’s notes were published in journals over a considerable period,so the books were also produced at long intervals, thus they are uncommon as a complete matching set. This is the most comprehensive record of Faraday’s remarkable achievements in the field of electricity. As the first to produce an electric current from a magnetic field, inventor of the first electric motor and pioneer in the use of electrolysis amongst many other milestone discoveries, the self-taught scientist and entrepreneur was one of the most influential physicists in history.
