Fifth Edition. 12 mo., pp. xiii,180 (irregular pagination but complete). With 12 hand-coloured plates and fold-out Table as called for, also bound out of order. Quarter bound in the original publishers’ boards and housed in bespoke navy cloth clam-shell box with gilt titles to spine. Lacks spine but binding still firmly holding; boards soiled, with small surface loss to paper of lower board. A little foxing to text-block edge; minor loss to corner tips of 3 leaves affecting margin only, and small loss approx. 5 cm x 2 cm to p. 25/6; 2 cm closed tear to margin p.7. Box clean and bright. A good copy in fine box.
