FIRST EDITION. Small octavo, pp xii, [4], 138, [2] Appendix. Addenda slip bound-in to rear. Original diced green cloth with floral decoration in blind to boards and printed paper title label to upper board. Primrose yellow endpapers; all edges sprinkled red. Edges rubbed; front joint/inner hinge cracked but holding. Spine lightly sunned with small stain at upper front joint. Scuffed area to front pastedown where bookplate has been removed; grease-stains to endpapers and to lower corners from p115 (marginal only, text unaffected) otherwise contents clean. No annotation or insriptions. Overall a well preserved copy of a pretty book.
